About Dog Parks in Sacramento
In Sacramento, all dogs must be on a leash when not on your property, and dog parks are one of the only places where you can let your dog roam free. Most dog parks are fully fenced off, and they provide a large area where your pup can safely run and play. Dog parks are also amazing places to take your dog to play with other pooches, as socialization is very important to a dog’s mental health. Before visiting any off-leash area, it is important to have your dog fully vaccinated and trained well enough to be around other dogs and humans. Sacramento also requires you to license your pet with the city, which is also needed before attending any dog park. Let’s take a look at 10 of the best dog parks in Sacramento so you can plan your next trip with your furry pal.
